About the event

ree

Sukkot begins on the 15th day of the seventh month and lasts for seven days.

The Israelites were commanded to dwell in booths (sukkot) in remembrance that God had caused them to dwell in booths when He brought them out of Egypt (Leviticus 23:42–43). It is a feast of thanksgiving for the harvest and a celebration of God’s provision and presence.

It’s also a reminder of pilgrimage and dependence. For Christians, Sukkot is often seen as pointing ahead to the Millennial Kingdom, God dwelling with humanity (Revelation 21:3).

In 2026 the dates given are September 25 to October 2.
